What Diet are you following?

I'm curious what everyone is following for their 'diet'. I am counting calories using myfitnesspal.com. (which btw, let me know if you use myfitnesspal, too, we can be friends on there to see eachothers updates...)
I'm curious what you're doing and how you like it...

  1. I'm following weight watchers and love it so far. So much flexibility -- I started Sept. 1 and lost 8.6 for the month so off to a great start! - Shay

  2. Shay that is great! I've done weight watchers before and i liked it. I liked the accountability and I also liked writing down (essentially) all the food that I ate during the day. That way I knew that if it was going in my mouth, i would have to write it down! I guess that's what I like about counting calories, too, I still have to write down my food. Already this week, I've had to stop myself from mindless eating...for example, pouring my son a bowl of goldfish, and then just grabbing a handful for myself. And as far as the accountability, that is why I wanted to start this group. :)

  3. My diet plan so far has been just eating as little refined sugar and white flour as possible. I've done weight watchers before. I really liked it and it helped me lose the baby weight with both James and Kate. I've tried to count calories as well. My problem with that though is I would sometimes save calories for a treat. So, I would choose not to eat something healthy because I wanted to save the points or calories for a treat instead. Now, I've decided not to worry so much about the calories and more about the types of food I'm eating. So far, not eating very much refined sugar, white flour, portion control, and exercise has worked for me!
